- Amazingly inspirational. One of the best, raw, eye opening books I have ever read! An absolute must (although I highly encourage you to read the 1st "One Week in LA" before reading this one) Kody is an amazing writer, actor, and human being. Perfectly flawed.

- Kody Christiansen's second memoir, One Week in LA Two Years Later, is the continuation to Hollywood Heartbreak | New York Dreams. While the first book is about his harrowing but ultimately inspiring journey to sobriety, the second one is about what happens after making such a life altering commitment.
Given the opportunity for a book reading/ signing at Hollywood's famous Book Soup, Kody is faced with returning to the place that almost cost him his life. Although nervous about how he would be received by people who knew him at his self-destructive worst, he knew it was important to go, and what transpires in these pages is an incredible tale of redemption and the magic that happens with good karma, including him - and his book - making international headlines in all the major gossip columns after doing an act of kindness for one of the world's biggest celebrities.
In his dedication Kody writes "To all those who seek redemption. The first step is to forgive yourself for who you were before. Then, face your fears and go bravely into your new world with clarity and light." This is exactly, beautifully, what Kody does in this true tale. Prepare, once again, to be inspired. - I liked Kaleb in Christiansen’s first book. I like him even better in this second book. Kaleb's optimism and love of everybody around him are infectious. I was as anxious as he was to see what each day of this event-filled week in LA would hold. So many cool things happened to Kaleb that it almost seemed that he had an angel on his shoulder! Knowing that this memoir is based on a true story made it especially delightful to me. I found this to be an entertaining read. I like Kody Christiansen’s honest reflections and easy style. He makes me want to be a better person. Buy this book. You’ll be glad you did.
